As Oklahoma City approaches a major milestone, it stands at a defining moment—one where today’s planning decisions will shape the city for generations. My work on the Oklahoma City Innovation District and Capitol Environs Land Use and Strategic Development Plan advances a vision for a dense, walkable, mixed-use district rooted in economic vitality and public life.
Developed across the Capitol Environs, the Innovation District core, and a broader land use framework for eastern Oklahoma City, the plan aligns stakeholders around a shared direction and sets the foundation for sustainable, long-term growth.

The outreach program connected with nearly 500 community members through surveys, seven community forums, and 60 user group interviews. There were 15 key stakeholder groups, including the State of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, and more.
